Sysselmannen har fått følgende melding fra
Meteorologisk institutt:
langs vestkysten periodevis full storm. Tiltykning til snø og snøfokk kommer
til å gi svært dårlige siktforhold. Det ventes mest snø på østkysten. Mandag
The Governor has received the following
message from the Norwegian Meteorological
Institute:
A strong low pressure system is moving northwards in the Norwegian Sea. This will give a wind increase in Svalbard Saturday night. So far the forecasts seem to be consistent about this Development. Sunday the wind is expected to increase to an easterly gale, along the west coast intermittently full storm. Snowfall and blowing snow is going to give very poor visibility. The most snow is expected in the East Coast. Monday morning the wind will decrease to gale and it will still snow.
Governor urges all who intend to go on trips to take this message into account.
